About us

Mitch was born and raised in Stanton, MO. He spent his childhood on the Meramec River surrounded by friends and family living great and eating even better. Mitch graduated from Sullivan High School in 2012 and enlisted in the Navy shortly after. He spent 2 years as a member of the Navy Ceremonial Guard in Washington, DC and 2 years aboard the USS Lassen DDG 82 as a gas turbine technician. After 4 years and traveling halfway around the world he hastily returned to his hometown with the dream of providing the great folks of the area with a gathering place that could rival those early days on the river. He started home brewing a few years ago along with his good buddy and Co-Owner Drake and has always had a passion for food.

Drake was born and raised in Sullivan, MO and graduated from Sullivan High School in 2012. Immediately following high school he enlisted in the Marine Corps and began his adventure traveling around the world. Drake started home brewing five years ago and quickly dove into trying to brew the perfect pint of beer. Drake is currently still in the military and uses every chance he has to travel and explore new breweries and try new beers in the search for that perfect cold sip. Drake has a beautiful wife and three wonderful kids that put up with and help his obsession of brewing and dreams of creating a perfect place to enjoy a cold one.

Makayla grew up on the Meramec River in Sullivan, MO and graduated from Sullivan High School in 2015. Makayla married Drake in 2015 and moved to the Crystal Coast of North Carolina where they lived for 7 years, raised their two daughters and explored numerous entrepreneurial passions. Despite their travels and time spent in North Carolina, Makayla always considered Missouri "home". With a shared passion for entrepreneurship, Drake and Makayla knew that they wanted to give back to their hometown of Sullivan upon returning. Their goal was to create a place where the community could come together and enjoy life.
